Earthbound 21st

Another marvelous drawing by Kanis for the 21st birthday of the Mother/EarthBound series! The color variety was very well-planned for an evening scene (or it could be in Magicant, Ness' "inner world"). The face expressions are clear and well-made, the little detail, such as the meteor that starts of the game's story also gives that EarthBound-y taste to the image. And there is the Mr. Saturn on top of Ness' cap. The Mr. Saturn represents innocence in the game and since this image probably was before game events (as told above), this image shows Ness' innocence before going on his life-changing journey to fulfill the prophecy empowered by evil Giygas. Once again, great work Kanis!
