My entry for #nintendo-fc's dark character contest.
I had a long thought about what to do. I wanted to do Masked Man since I've recently beaten Mother 3, but I didn't know what I should do with him...
I wanted to avoid fighting, showing off strength power stuff and the like, it's just too mainstream and "easy".
After thinking so much that it hurt my brain, I came up with this concept.
Gosh, it took forever to get the reflection. I ended up having to just copy the layers and flip them. It worked though. ^^
I love Claus, he's such an innocent character, just because of Porky... why Porky? Why?

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis piece looks very well shaded and thought out. I like how the Masked Man is holding the light sword(light sword looks awesome by the way) and how Claus is holding a sunflower. I also like the lightning and how Claus's colors are distorted. However, I didn't like the skin color that was used. I think if both the Masked Man and Claus were paler, it would give off more of a gaunt look to the photo. I also think the background, at least on the Masked Man's side, could've been less blotchy. Overall, I would give the picture a 4 star rating.
